Championship series, Game 1: Saturday
Championship series, Game 2: Sunday
Championship series, Game 3 (if necessary): Monday

Tradewater won its second KIT League title in as many years Sunday by beating Union City 4-3 in the first game of a double header for the team's ninth consecutive win after struggling early in July. Union City took the nightcap 8-0 to finish 28-22 on the season, just one game behind the Pirates, who end with a 29-21 record.
The only remaining regular season game that will have any bearing on playoff seeding will be Monday's Sikeston at Owensboro game. Both teams will finish either in fourth or fifth place, which means they will once again face on Tuesday for the opening round of the playoffs. However, which team hosts could depend on the outcome of Monday's game. Sikeston would have to win to have any hope of hosting.
A split of double header at Sikeston Sunday ensures that Marion will travel to Fulton Tuesday for the first-round playoff game.
Fulton dropped its fourth game in a row Friday, falling 9-2 to Tradewater and dropping out of first place one game behind the Pirates and Union City, who are tied for top spot in the league with a 27-20 record.
Tradewater came from behind Sunday to win a make-up game from the week before, keeping Marion in last place and mathematically eliminating the Bobcats from a first-round play-off bye.
Tory Doerr, Marion's left-handed pitcher from Bethalto, Ill., is out for the season.
Marion moved to within a half-game of fifth place by beating Union City 5-4 Thursday, coming from four runs down to knock the Greyhounds out of first place after Fulton picked up a pair of wins at faltering Owensboro.
