Sikeston puts up 6 in seventh to earn win

Sikeston gored the Bobcats Wednesday in the seventh inning, posting six runs to erase a 2-1 deficit and hand Marion its 15 loss of the season against five wins.

Four hits, two errors and a passed ball led to the scoring in the Bulls' seventh off starter Justin O'Brien and reliever Trey Smith. Sikeston (10-11) added another run in the eighth, cementing an 8-2 victory. Only three of Sikeston's eight runs were earned.
O'Brien took the loss and Logan Lawson earned the win for Sikeston.
On offense, Marion managed six hits – two from catcher Fred Rossi and Jacob Martin and one each from Andrew Harris and Drew Barrett. Barrett also registered and RBI for the Bobcats.
